Construction Systems

Construction Systems is a course that specializes in how people use modern construction systems and the management of resources to efficiently produce a structure on a site. Students will explore the application of tools, materials, and energy in designing, producing, using, and assessing the construction of structures. Classroom activities introduce students to the techniques used in applying construction technology to the production or residential, commercial, and industrial buildings in addition to civil strictures. Students learn how to architectural ideas are converted into projects and how projects are managed during a construction project in this course.

Grade Level: 9-12
